WW 2 DATED 1942 US ARMY CAPTAIN CHEMICAL WARFARE IKE WOOL JACKET 42S & KHAKI SHIRT.
The jacket is labeled 42S. There are two Chemical Warfare collar insignia, two Captain epaulets, and a 93rd Chemical Mortar Battalion patch. No holes in the Ike jacket and the inside lining is intact. The label on the inside pocket is dated June 6, 1944, and the size label is 42 short. All buttons are attached.
The officer's shirt is khaki wool with the 93rd Chemical Mortar Battalion and the 5th Army patches. I don't find any holes, however, there are a few small stains toward the bottom of the shirt. All buttons are attached, but not all are matching.
Sleeve length is approximately 23 inches
Back Shoulder length is approximately 18 1/2 inches
Chest shirt button Seam to Seam length is 24 inches. We purchased several years ago from a collector who had a large collection of uniforms that he wanted to sell. We purchased all of his uniforms, and we have had them stored away for many years. We are now selling his collection of uniforms.
